Meet Kathryn J. Roegiers, Esquire
Kathryn Roegiers is an advocate for her clients. She has proven herself to be an ingenious, successful and thoughtful attorney who understands the judicial system, walking clients through every step of the process while protecting their rights. As a top attorney, Ms. Roegiers has tackled serious and complex criminal and civil cases.
Her experience and relationships forged while working in the Public Defender’s office allow her to aggressively defend her clients before they go to court rather than starting on their first court date.
Ms. Roegiers is in good standing with the Florida Bar, practicing criminal defense. She is a member of the American Inns of Court, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Martin County Bar Association, and the Young Professionals of Martin County.
EDUCATION & INTERNSHIP
While attending Stetson University College of Law, she interned with the City of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Upon law school graduation, Ms. Roegiers accepted a position with the 19th Judicial Circuit Public Defenders Office, where she practiced juvenile, misdemeanor and felony divisions of law in Martin and Saint Lucie counties. She was eventually offered a position at a private law firm on the Treasure Coast before deciding to open her own practice in 2014.
Ms. Roegiers is a Martin County native. After graduating from Martin County High School, she enrolled at the University of Florida. While at UF, she was an active member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and studied abroad for one semester in Rome, Italy.
